Classroom Instruction Questions
What's the minimum age?
You must be at least 15 years, 9 months old to begin classroom instruction in Maryland.
Can I take it entirely online?
Yes. Our live Zoom cohorts issue the exact same MVA-approved completion certificate as our in-person classes.
Do I need my learner's permit first?
No. Most students start classroom instruction before or right after getting their permit. Behind-the-wheel training does require a valid permit.
What if I miss a class?
Makeup sessions run Fridays. Contact us and we'll get you rescheduled — no makeup fee.
